Vetzan/Vezzano

The small village of Vetzan lies at the feet of the Sonnenberg mountain slopes, at a distance of approximately 2 km from Schlanders. 

Vetzan, specially sun kissed in its wonderful hillside position, is the Vinschgau’s principal vineyard town. Records show that it has been managed by the Marienberg Monastery from as early on as in 1170.

As is customary to all major vintner towns, Vetzan too offers wine tasting events and guided vineyard excursions.
